Hi, I'm Mathias, a 37-year-old working in finance full-time. I'm looking for a short-term place from mid-January 2027 for about one week (with my friend Sarah, we are visiting Melbourne for the Australian open), and I'm pretty flexible about what that looks like—whether it's a studio, whole property, granny flat, or homestay situation. I'm an easygoing housemate who respects shared spaces and keeps to myself during the workday, so I'm ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom and at most one other flatmate to keep things low-key. I'm fine with whatever furnishing works best for the space, don't need parking, and am flexible on internet as well, so I'm really just after a comfortable, straightforward living situation without too much fuss.
