Flatmates in Australia

Hi, I'm Klara, a 20-year-old Swedish girl on working holidays looking for a place to land in the Bondi area from mid November. I’m a considerate housemate who respects shared spaces and quiet hours. I'm looking for a room in a share house or flat or a bed in a shared room. I’m very social, I love meeting new people, and I’m very easygoing and simple to get along with. I'd love to live with friendly people who are laid-back and up for the occasional hangout, but also respect everyone's independence and routines—basically a vibe where we can all do our own thing while being decent neighbours to each other.

Hi, I'm Chantelle, a 37-year-old woman currently in the Oakden area looking for my next home. I'm someone who values a calm, respectful living environment and enjoy keeping things tidy and peaceful — I'm quiet by nature and respect my housemates' space and routines. I'm looking for a furnished room, studio, or granny flat where I can have my own bathroom and reliable internet, ideally with no more than two other people in the household so we can all maintain a comfortable balance. I'm planning to move in mid-October 2026 and looking for a stable, long-term arrangement of around a year, and I'm happy to stay in or around Oakden. If you think we'd be a good fit as housemates, I'd love to hear from you!

I'm Derek, a 58-year-old man looking for a stable, long-term home starting late next year. I'm currently supported by government assistance and have a quiet, low-key lifestyle—I keep regular hours, respect shared spaces, and value a peaceful household environment. I'm flexible on most things like furnishing and internet, but having an ensuite bathroom is important to me for privacy and comfort. I'm looking for either a studio or granny flat where I can live independently with just one other person at most, ideally in a setup where we can coexist without too much overlap. My budget is $200 a week, I don't need parking, and I'm committed to a year-long lease, so I'm looking for a landlord or flatmate who values reliability and a respectful, straightforward living arrangement.

Hey! I'm Arrman, a 27-year-old working full-time in tech, and I'm looking for a short-term/longer term (if i like)place in Perth's inner suburbs for about four weeks starting mid-November. I'm pretty straightforward as a housemate,I keep a regular work schedule, respect shared spaces, and enjoy a quiet, low-drama living environment. I'm after a furnished room with my own bathroom and solid internet connection, ideally in a smaller household with just one or two other flatmate so we can keep things relaxed and manageable. I'm flexible on accommodation type whether that's a room in a share house, a studio, or a granny flat — as long as it's within my $250-300/week budget and located somewhere central like Perth, East Perth, or East Victoria Park.

Hi! I'm Courtney, im 31, from Ireland and on a WHV-- looking for a place to settle into for about six months starting in November. I'm pretty flexible with my schedule and enjoy a relaxed, friendly household vibe — I'm the type of person who's happy to chat over a cup of tea or have a game nights, but I also respect everyone's space and alone time. I'm looking for a furnished room in a share house, share flat, or studio in the inner west (Ashfield, Newtown, or Redfern ideally), with reliable internet and a budget of around $350 a week. I'd prefer to live with a maximum of three other flatmates in a laid-back environment where everyone gets along, and I'm pretty easygoing about most things — just looking for a comfortable, welcoming home base while I'm here! Im super tidy and friendly and I dont drink or smoke. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

I'm holly, a 19 year old Music Production student from London, doing a semester abroad in Sydney. My budget is $450, and I don't need parking. I'd like to move in for semester 1- Feb to June. I'd ideally like to live in the same building as my friend and classmate who's coming along on the exchange. Our ideal suburbs are Chippendale, Redfern, Surry Hills and Dulwich Hill. Thanks :)

G'day, I'm Eathen, a 46-year-old bloke currently in the Dandenong area looking for a short-term place to land for about 12 weeks from October. I'm between jobs at the moment and appreciate a relaxed, low-key household where people respect each other's space and routines. I'm after a furnished studio, granny flat, or whole property with my own bathroom—these things really matter to me for comfort and privacy. I'm flexible on internet and don't need parking, so I'm pretty easy to accommodate that way. Ideally I'd be in a place with just one other person max, or even on my own, where we can coexist peacefully without too much fuss.

I'm an easygoing, respectful and independent person who enjoys a relaxed and comfortable home. I like having a chat, sharing a meal or occasionally doing something together, but I'm equally happy doing my own thing and giving people their space. I'm tidy and considerate of shared areas, and I appreciate good communication and a household where everyone contributes. I'm moving from Belgium to Adelaide in January and have worked in aquatics as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, alongside management and coaching studies. In my spare time I'm a gamer and develop my own game, so there will probably be the occasional nerdy conversation! 🎮 I'm hoping to find a friendly household where people can get along naturally without feeling like they have to be joined at the hip.

Hi! I'm Julie, a 25-year-old working in hospitality who's based around Byron Bay. I'm a full-time worker with a passion for travel and adventure, so I'm often picking up extra shifts and planning my next getaway—I love the energy that comes with that kind of lifestyle. As a housemate, I'm pretty laid-back and considerate; I respect shared spaces and am happy to chip in around the house. I'm looking for a furnished room in a share house or flat with up to four other flatmates, ideally with a shared bathroom setup. I'm flexible on internet and don't need parking, so I'm easy to accommodate—I'm just after a welcoming, relaxed household where I can settle in for about six months from October 2026 and connect with people who enjoy a good vibe. My budget is $300 per week, and I'm keen to find a place that feels like home while I balance work and my travel dreams!

Hey, I'm Kim, a 26-year-old guy working full-time in hospitality here in East Perth. I'm pretty flexible and easy-going as a housemate—I work varied shifts including holidays, and I'm genuinely passionate about travel and experiencing different places, so I'm used to adapting to different living situations. I'm looking for a place for around 24 weeks starting October 2026, with a budget of $250 a week, and I'm happy with pretty much any setup—whether that's a room in a share house, a studio, a shared room, or even a granny flat. I'm totally fine sharing bathrooms and don't need my own parking, so I'm a pretty low-maintenance tenant who'll work around whatever setup suits the household best. I'm after a relaxed living environment with no more than three other flatmates, ideally somewhere in East Perth where I can settle into a genuine, friendly home vibe.

I'm Laura, a 37-year-old and I am looking for a stable, year-long living situation starting October 2026, and I'm hoping to find a whole property, studio, or granny flat where I can really settle in with my husband, Richie. I'm a straightforward housemate who values my own space and independence. I'm flexible on furnishing and internet, but having my own bathroom is important to me. I'm reliable, respectful of shared spaces, myself and my husband are easy going and chill.

G'day, I'm Lynne, a 60-year-old woman with a background in education, currently between jobs and supported by government assistance. I'm looking for a comfortable, affordable room for about four months starting in late September 2026, with a budget of $350 per week. I'm pretty flexible about the setup — whether it's a room in a share house, a granny flat, or a studio, I'm happy to work with what suits, and I'm not fussed about furnishings, bathroom style, or parking since I don't drive. I'm a quiet, easygoing housemate who enjoys my own company but am genuinely interested in living harmoniously with others; I'm respectful of shared spaces and keep to myself during the day. I'm looking for a household with no more than two other flatmates, ideally somewhere with a relaxed, friendly vibe where people respect each other's routines and privacy.
